Tis the season~Inspiring xmas styling ideas

My favourite time of year………..Christmas! I find it hectic and crazy but so fun and exciting at the same time. It’s that time of year when you get to spend it with your most treasured people in your life.

I in particular love the lead up for the special day- the time I spend on styling and decorating my home, and the Christmas tree (although this year there will be no tree to decorate) Yes you heard me NO tree- I made the decision to not have a big floor tree, only because I know my 15 month old toddler will find it ever so fascinating to pull off all the decorations and possibly even try and climb the tree.

I am sure every mum is thinking the same thing, and debating whether or not to put one up, my advice is no, its not worth the constant “no stop that” ” no do not climb the tree” ” no do not pull down all the decorations” (that took me forever to put up)- anyway you get my drift!,

There are plenty of other ways to style your home and make it look “Christmassy” – pay extra attention to your dining table, side tables or book shelves. Decorate the areas you know that your “little ones” wont be able to get to.
